We are located next door to Kuenzi Family Pet Hospital, above Family Pet Boarding just off of highway 164.

Our training space is located above the Family Pet Boarding building, next door to Kuenzi Family Pet Hospital. Use main entry to Family Pet Boarding, then use the stairs in reception area to the training room.



The following veterinary requirements for your corresponding class must be provided prior to your first session with your dog. Records may be emailed by you or you can request your dog's veterinary office email them directly to: 



  • Proof of wellness exam from current veterinarian. 

  • First set of puppy vaccinations, including: distemper, parainfluenza, parvo and bordetella

  • Proof of intestinal parasite screen with negative results from veterinarian. If results of the intestinal parasite screen are positive: confirmation from veterinarian that puppy is undergoing appropriate treatment and cleared to attend group class.

Note: Your puppy must be started on the vaccination series (listed above), but the entire series does NOT need to be completed before the start of class. The position of the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior is that puppies should receive socialization before they are fully vaccinated. Click here to read full statement.



  • Proof of wellness exam from referring veterinarian

  • Proof of current Rabies and combination vaccinations or a Titer laboratory test showing immune status to: Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, Parovirus (i.e. DHLPP) and Bordatella.  


What to bring to class

(Note: Do not bring these items to orientation.)

  • Your hungry, healthy dog

  • A treat bag.

  • Small, pea-sized yummy dog treats

  • Clicker (provided at orientation)

  • A mat or rug (anything portable that your dog can lie down on, and is not their regular dog bed.)

  • (Optional) Stuffed kong or favorite toy


Class schedule

Your first class with your dog will start one week following orientation.  Puppy Start Right teams will have 4, subsequent weekly classes your puppies, and Canine Manners Matter teams will have a total of 5 weekly, one-hour sessions following orientation with your dogs.

One make-up session is offered, space permitting, and must be used within eight weeks from orientation. Advance notice is required for non emergencies. Absences without notification will forfeit your remaining sessions and your spot will open for a new team.
